Charging time greatly depends on the charger type you are using. Most public (Level 3) fast chargers can complete a full charge in under two hours for EVs irrespective of their battery size, enabling Uber drivers to get a full charge during dull periods or when they are resting. 

Home chargers (Level 1) which are plug and play take around 24 hours to complete a full charge for most EV models and are a great way to get cost-effective charges without breaking the bank. 

A combination of public charging and home charging is recommended to ensure optimal use of your Uber car. Most of our drivers use a fast charger three times a week and top up using their home charger.
